Building an architecturally designed house is not a simple task, but if flexibility and attention to detail are applied the task can be successfully completed with everyone walking away with a sense of achievement.

Due to the nature of building a bespoke house there were a number of issues in converting the two dimensional drawings to a three dimensional reality.

I would like to compliment Josh for his flexibility, adaptability, knowledge and patience shown when dealing with the myriad of issues from roofline to air-conditioning ducting, and everything in between. His open, friendly manner and willingness to ask for our ideas and explaining the various options (with the pros & cons) to decisions we had to make provided a real benefit to understanding the issues as they occurred. Another part of that openness was the accessibility we had to the house throughout the entire building process.

You cannot expect to build a house like this without issues/problems occurring; this will happen, but it is how Josh dealt with these issues that make a difference. I would have to say our experience so far has been that if it is not up to standard there is no argument, but rather a quick agreement with an action plan of how it will be fixed. There was no haggling and to quote  "If it’s not good enough, we’ll get it fixed”.
